Where Strength Finds Purpose

Shaping lives through strength and skill

Abujhmad Mallakhamb and Sports Academy isn’t just a training ground — it’s a movement, a home, and a hope born in the heart of Bastar. Founded in 2016, the academy empowers tribal children through the ancient Indian art of Mallakhambh — blending tradition, physical discipline, education, and emotional resilience to shape not just athletes, but leaders.

At the core of this mission stands Manoj Prasad, a Defence Forces officer whose service once brought him face-to-face with Naxalite conflict in this very region. Refusing to see Bastar only through the lens of violence, he envisioned a new narrative — one where children would rise, not run. Using his personal income, Manoj established the academy, beginning with a single rope and a handful of hopeful children. Today, he leads with the same grit he demanded of himself in uniform — coaching, mentoring, protecting, and uplifting every child like family.

Every Effort Builds a Legacy

Behind every performance, there’s a journey. Behind every child, a transformation. Through daily practice, structured support, and community belief, our academy continues to uplift lives — one child, one climb, one cause at a time.

Empowering Tribal Children
We train children from underrepresented regions, making them to build confidence, character, and opportunity.
Blending Sport with Education
Children receive academic support alongside their physical training, ensuring they grow intellectually, emotionally, and physically.
First National Winners
Made history as the first Mallakhambh group to ever participate in a national reality show — and not just to compete, but won.
Safe Space Felling Like Home
The academy is more than a training site — it’s a shelter where children are mentored, fed, schooled, and protected like family.
Led by a Real-Life Hero
Founded and personally supported by Defence Forces officer Manoj Prasad, the academy stands on service, sacrifice, and sincerity.
Preserving Cultural Pride
We’re not just building future athletes — we’re reviving India’s traditional sport and taking Mallakhambh to national and global platforms.

Who Started This & Why

From Defence uniform to guiding young warriors

It was built by a soldierManoj Prasad, who once stood on frontlines facing Naxalite conflict, and later stood beside children who had nothing but potential.
He didn’t wait for funding. He didn’t wait for support. He used his own salary, his own hands, and his vision to turn a dusty patch in Bastar into a home of legends.

Today, over 50 children train every day in his academy — and it all began with one rope, one pole, and one unshakable dream.
A dream that you can now carry forward.

The Warrior Who Chose a Different Battlefield

From frontline encounters to center stage victories

In 2013, posted deep in Bastar’s conflict zones, a young defence personnel stood guard against Naxal threats by day and dreamed of training children by night. After years of personal struggle and financial pressure, he travelled to Mumbai in 2016, learned Mallakhamb himself, and returned to Bastar—not to rest, but to begin. He turned his humble camp into an academy and trained tribal children with no background in performance art. In 2023, breaking all norms, they stormed onto the India’s Got Talent stage. With zero media exposure, no fancy setups, and no celebrity mentor—his team won with over 15 crore votes, becoming the first Mallakhamb academy ever to do so.
